I really like the cover on this issue, but isn't the constant voyeurism on the Harvey covers a little weird?  The dark London streets, the redhead in red and the purplicious background, naughty naughty .

Here's the kids' section of the New York World, an odd mix of cartoons, jokes, puzzles, and advertising.  This publication's claim to fame would be the publication of the first crossword puzzle in 1913.  Thanks to McCoy for the edit.

Cough, I didn't really consider that before posting, I just assumed   

If I'm not mistaken (always a distinct possibility), anything of this nature before 1923 is fair game.    I'll kill the posts if we find out they are bad juju.  The poor things were crumbling to pieces and have been repaired as possible.  I don't find them too thrilling, but they are a motley mix of elements, very experimental.  Newsprint this old is in bad shape and scarce, so I'm scanning them no matter what their status is, but I will remove them from the GA sites for sure if they aren't PD...
