Is it just me, or is the comment button currently missing? I currently have an empty space where it used to be.

No, it's not just you.  After having our Comment feature hi-jacked by a spam-bot last week we've turned it off until we can be sure the same thing doesn't happen again.

We hope it's only temporary.  Members are encouraged to post here in the forum or on the DCM Facebook page.
