When I click these links I'm getting "Your Internet access is blocked
Firewall or antivirus software may have blocked the connection.
Try:
Checking the connection
Checking firewall and antivirus configurations
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED".
I've tried 2 browsers and it's the same.
Here's what you need to understand.
I use free hosting.
1) Free hosting means that the "atwebpages.com" is also hosting hundreds of other sites from users like me as well as sites that may have been placed by people who uploaded malicious content. Antivirus software or other security software will sometimes block it at the base level domain name of "atwebpages.com" without actually checking my pages at "comicchecklist.atwebpages.com" Your security software may have the domain on a blacklist and be blocking access to my site.
2) Free hosting is flaky. Sometimes they'll take content offline for 24 hours. Sometimes the page may load but half the images don't. They offer free hosting as bait to get you to upgrade, but then the service is so bad that no one in their right mind would ever want to upgrade.
I'm compiling this content and making it available for free. Personally, I'm not going to pay for hosting just so I can give away free content. That's just not an option I wish to pursue.
It's just a hobby for me and it's a "not for profit" service.
As to your not being able to see anything:
Suggestion #1 - Try again periodically and see if the error message is the same. It may mysteriously start working. It might be a glitch on the hosting side.
Suggestion #2 - Go to a site like this and paste in the URL for my pages.
https://www.proxysite.com/ That might bypass your security software from incorrectly blacklisting the content. It'll load through the proxy domain name instead.
(Important edit: NEVER use a site like that to log in to Facebook or any site where you enter a username and password. It's possible for them to harvest your username and password and sell it to people. It's only good for static websites like mine.)Suggestion #3 - Search through all the security software and see if there is a way to whitelist the domain. I don't think it's really worth the effort to do that, but it may solve the problem.
All I can say is... I click the links and they work for me here and at work. The other day, I clicked the link and the page loaded, but not all the images loaded. I clicked reload/refresh and all the images then loaded.
Good luck.
