So at some point in the early 80's I read a comic in a used book store that had a story of a nerd and a pretty girl who ran into a barn, I believe to get out of the rain. I want to say his name was Harold. He professed his love for her and he picked up an axe and dismembered her. That's about all I got. It may have been in a magazine size format, I think black and white(?). Guessing it was a reprint because it was pre-code material but this place wouldn't have had anything that old in stock.

I have been trying to find this for a while and hope it rings a few bells.

Thanks!

Since nobody here seems to have an answer, I might suggest looking at the magazine forum on the CGC boards.  There are a lot of fans there who are quite knowledgeable about the B&W comic magazines.  Good luck on your search!
