The first place I'd look is in the Fiction House section. Jungle Comics, Jumbo Comics (with Shenna), Wings Comics.
Second, grab a few issues of Air-Fighters/Airboy published by Hillman Comics.
Quality Comics published the Blackhawk strip in Military Comics, Modern Comics, & Blackhawk Comics.
Strips with special/super aircraft (not to mention masked flyers) include Fawcett's Captain Midnite & The Phantom Eagle in Wow Comics. Columbia Comics had Skyman in Big Shot (Comics), plus four issues of his own title.
In addition, a lot of anthology books had an aviation strip, or a jungle one.
