Marvel Comics and Marvel Comics
« on: May 28, 2019, 10:55:40 AM »
I was just thinking.
I read a few years ago "The Secret History of Marvel Comics" They talked about all the different "publishing" arms of Timely/Atlas/Marvel comics.
It got me to wondering exactly how many of those were there and which books did they publish?!!!?

So here a few I have dug up.

All Winners 4, Timely, 1941, U.S.A. Comics Corporation, Meridan, Connecticut
All Winners 17, Timely, 1941, U.S.A Comics Corporation, Meridan, Connnecticut
Amazing Adult Fantasy 10, 1962, Atlas Magazines, Inc., NY, NY (and Meridan, CT!!!)
Amazing Adult Fantasy 11, 1962, Atlas Magazines, Inc., NY, NY (and Meridan, CT!!!)
Amazing Adult Fantasy 13, 1962, Atlas Magazines, Inc., NY, NY (and Meridan, CT!!!)
Amazing Adult Fantasy 14, 1962, Atlas Magazines, Inc., NY, NY (and Meridan, CT!!!)
Amazing Fantasy 15, Canan Publishers Sales Corp., NY, NY (no Meridan, CT anymore!)
Amazing Spider-Man 2, 1963, Non-Pareil Publishing Corp., NY, NY
Amazing Spider-Man 6, 1963, Non-Pareil Publishing Corp., NY, NY
Amazing Spider-Man 23, 1965, Non-Pareil Publishing Corp., NY, NY
Amazing Spider-Man 38, 1966, Non-Pareil Publishing Corp., NY, NY
Avengers 2, 1963, Vista Publications Inc, NY, NY

I wonder how many publishing arms did he have and what was going on in Meridan, CT?

I am sure some of you guys know the answers to these and more intriguing facts will be forthcoming from all of you!
Yours in comics,
Brian M.

Hi Brian,
I bet there is somewhere on the GCD site that could tell you.
And Nick C. is very much into info like this on his Atlas-Marvel blog:
