An interesting comic, with strips that would be featured in future comics:
(1) Dan Hastings, by Ken Fitch, art by Fred Guardineer. Guardineer had discovered, but not quite mastered, Alex Raymond.
(2) Lucky Coyne, art by Frank Frollo, the King of the Static Comic Page (but, boy! did he do some nice atmospheric covers)
(3) Spots, an early "bigfoot" cartoon strip by Paul Gustavson, who later did some very nice super-hero art.
(4) Sky Menace, credited to Will Harr, with art by Maurice Gutwirth

Plus, there is a "Little Nemo" and an "Impy" story by Windsor McKay, Jr. There is some evidence that WMJr. had been or was going to be hired by Whitney Ellsworth to draw Superman, which would have been an interesting exercise.
