I know this is not new (I've had this version since 2008), but I'd like to take this opportunity to suggest that all original versions, original artwork, alternate covers, text files and so forth be placed at the END of the file so as to not ruin the continuity for those of us who like to read their comics in the style of the original two-page spreads. |

I was the one that found the missing pages and added them in. That however is the extent that I'm willing to mess with someone else's work. Each editor does things their own way and I don't feel it's respectful to them to be changing around how they want the scan to look. Again adding in missing pages is one thing, but moving the order of what was already there isn't something I want to do. I would't like it if it was done to one of mine and I'm not gonna do it to others. |

Thanks for the c2c! Titansfan.. agree totally! |

Hi lrek, you raise a good point I'd never considered before this. In the future any extras will come at the end of anything new I add to the site. |

...meaning altering an existing scan without their permission I wouldn't do. :) |

I was referring to my own files. Others will go up as-is unless I spot a glaring problem. |

It's so easy to edit the files (or jpg's) to our liking (which should always contain nice 'raw' scans originally). More concerning is the virtually total absence of new horror scans - even a fair few of the JVJ collection scans need re-scanning tbh. |

Oh we agree Rob, but we can only share what has been donated.
With more and more books being submitted for CGC grading those copies will never be scanned.
JVJ was an exceptionally generous scanner who never slabbed his books and was willing to share almost his entire collection for scanning. We dearly hope other collectors out there will consider scanning their books before they are lost to history. |
