Army nurse Kathie falls in love with wounded soldier Lindell. They marry secretly while on leave in Japan, but when they return to war in Korea, Lindell goes missing in action. Kathie is sent back to the USA. Lindell's wealthy family thinks she tricked their son into marriage, and claim he secretly wed his girlfriend Camille before he was deployed. However, Lindell was only wounded, and he and Kathie are reunited when he's sent to a stateside hospital. He tells his parents that Camille was the gold-digger and he never married her. He loves Kathie. |
