| Synopsis: |
Lillian, traveling to meet her husband Bill, misses a bus and accepts a ride from a stranger. The man tries to rape her; she knocks him out and escapes. She later reads a newspaper story that says the man is dead, and a woman is being sought for questioning. Lillian prepares to flee but Bill comes home and says the murderer, a man, was caught trying to pawn the victim’s valuables. Lillian will never reveal her secret. |
