Synopsis:	Marie and Jerry fall in love on a train trip from New York to California. The train wrecks and Jerry contracts amnesia. Marie learns he was engaged to socialite Virginia and reunites them, which restores Jerry’s memory. Marie sadly departs, but Jerry tracks her down and says he also remembers falling in love with her on the train.

However, Jarol says those are his father’s wives: “I was educated in England in Western ways,” and only wants one wife—-Alice.

The levee breaks and Grace thinks Randy is drowned, but they both survive and are reunited.
