Comment: Thanks Yoc! Some of the best newspaper comic strips and adventure and costumed hero original strips in this Popular Comics. Bill Ely's early art was a lot more interesting than his Silver Age DC art (Rip Hunter etc.) I remember some GA Dell comic with Ely doing a time travel / dinosaurs strip -- was it perhaps other episodes of Hurricane Kids in Popular? When the Baron's plane is spotted by the border patrol, the human "cargo" is dumped to remove any evidence. Jack uses a special pressure suit to fly high enough to intercept the airliner. He strafes the airline with a machine gun, setting the engines on fire.
