Synopsis: |
Bill asks employment agency owner Tabby to supply a cook and a maid for a dinner party he’s throwing for publisher J.R. Scoople, hoping he’ll be offered a job. Tabby doesn’t have any available employees, so she fills both roles herself. At the dinner, she becomes jealous of Scoople’s attractive daughter Diane. Afterwards, Bill admits Diane helped him set up the appointment but she’s engaged to someone else: Bill proposes to Tabby. |
