Comment: This issue has a one-page text story of the fighter pilot Greg "Pappy" Boyington (of Black Sheep fame). The story strongly implies that Boyington was killed in an aerial dogfight with the Japanese -- he was declared missing in action but had actually been captured by the Japanese. He was held as a POW until the end of World War II.
