Synopsis: Impetuous playgirl Nita decides to change her wild ways and marry struggling aircraft designer Ben. He refuses to touch her family’s money and she becomes bored. After a party, Nita agrees to run off the next day with her former boyfriend Tony. However, Tony changes his mind and doesn’t show up: it’s Ben who arrives at the rendezvous. Nita admits her dalliance with Tony was a mistake, because she loves Ben.

Synopsis: Ellen travels to Texas to marry Tom, a widower she met through a magazine's lonely hearts ad. They are happy at first, but Tom refuses to let Ellen socialize with any of their neighbors. He refuses to explain at first, then tells her that he blames the others for his first wife’s death; she was accidentally killed after arguing with Tom about her social life. When the barn catches fire, the neighbors all arrive to help Tom save his ranch, and he realizes he judged them unfairly. He promises to change his ways.

They vacation with two younger couples, and Elaine attempts to keep up with them, but falls from a horse. When she recovers, Elaine apologizes for her actions and Fred says “love doesn’t know anything about age” and he loves her.

Ann now tells Buddy she prefers him, but he says “you love no one but yourself.”

Their rich neighbor Maurice convinces Peg to run away with him, but when they are caught in a “native” uprising, Maurice abandons her. Burt and some soldiers rescue Peg and she says she’ll love him forever.
