Judy loves “wild” Les but his irresponsible nature causes her to accept solid Bill’s marriage proposal instead. Two years later, Les returns. Judy begins to see him again; Les says they could run away together if he had $2,000. Bill borrows a diamond bracelet from the jewelry store where he works so Judy can wear it to a party; she hocks it and gives the cash to Les. However, Les leaves the city without taking her. Judy confesses to Bill and he forgives her. |
