I was thinking, I do that a lot, about comic books. That is old comic books.

If I could have any one comic from DCM as a physical book which one would I choose?

There are so many, it would be pretty dog gone hard to decide.
It would be one of the rare ones no doubt, Daredevil battles Hitler, perhaps.
Whiz #2 would be good.

But I am more of a collector of the artists, Kirby, Ditko, Wood, Fine. So many to choose from.
I just don't know....

Hmm.  I'd say Pep #9 and Silver Streak #6 off the top of my head.
Street & Smith have some fun covers too.

WOW!! So many to choose from. I'm like you B, I go for the artist to catch my eye. I have a few paper books from the '50's. Team up on artists sometimes makes it more desirable. One such match up is Kirby and Wood on projects they worked on, (Challengers of the Unknown, Sky Masters newspaper strip), also Kirby and Al Williamson on Harvey's Race to the Moon issues 2 and 3. I could go on and on but will hold it right here for now as there are many more I could talk about that their work is on the site from the early '50's that impressed me.

I'm practically a kid in a candy store with all these great books. But I would love to own any of the early issues of Quality's seven anthology titles (Feature Comics, Smash Comics, Crack Comics, National Comics, Hit Comics, Police Comics, and Military Comics) mainly due to the exceptional artwork in those early books. Especially those books that feature the artwork of Lou Fine.
