Just for fun, two friends of mine and I made this video, doing a page-by-page analysis of Dell Four Color #598, featuring the only appearance of Captain Davy Jones. We intended it to only be about 20 minutes long, but we ended up talking about the art, the use of light and shadows, character design, characterization, story construction, historical accuracy and (because the villain is based on Blackbeard) the career of the real-life Blackbeard. So it ended up being an hour-long video. Thanks in advance to anyone who actually takes the time to watch it.
