Question on Hidden Gems for Horror/Crime/Sci Fi
« on: August 07, 2017, 06:23:01 PM »
I enjoy the Horror/Crime in the 1950-55 books.  I have read most of them.  What I am looking for are the hidden horror or crime stories in other comics of the time period - for example love-western - etc..

An example would be Bobby Benson's B-Bar-B Riders - A straight western title. #14 has a classic horror story/cover -10 decapitated heads! and Bondage- a gem not to miss!

anyone have other examples?

Not sure I'd call them a 'gem' but still interesting.
Look in Yellow Jacket Comics (Charlton) for some of the earliest horror stories with Famous Tales of Terror which would feature an The Old Witch type starting in #7.
Historically it's interesting.
