You will find varied opinions here about color preferences - some of them rather strong. Many people, including myself, prefer that the colors in scans should look as close to possible to how the book would have looked when it was first sold. When I edit scans, I try to compensate for the aging and yellowing of the newsprint, as well as the fading of the ink. (It is not easy to do both at the same time.) There are others who like the bright colors that are seen in reprints (and in modern books), and some argue that the original publishers would have printed comics this way if it has been possible at the time.
Your colors do not look too bad, but are perhaps a little brighter than I would personally prefer. My love of comics is more of a nostalgic one, and the softer colors, the grain of the paper, and other minor imperfections all contribute in bringing back the memories I had when I first read comics as a child.
