The IW reprints were normally shot from the original plates; ads are different and there are sometimes other minor changes. A scan of the whole original book would definitely be preferable to my scan of the reprint. But whatever you're willing to do is great.
OK, after unearthing my scanner and wrestling with drivers for my new laptop (well, new since I last scanned anything), I've got a cover-to-cover scan of Phantom Lady #23 (300 DPI .tiff files, zipped into an archive). I'm one who doesn't consider a scan "done" until it's c2c- missing indicia and statements of ownership make me sad, and there's an SOO on the last page of this issue- not sure that made it into the IW reprint :-)
These are *raw* scans- I flipped the alternate pages so they're all right-side-up, but otherwise did no rotating, cropping, cleaning, etc. I'm afraid I just have too many coding obligations at the GCD to spend time on that, especially given that I have no experience or particular skill at doing such things. That said, if any page is too badly scanned *please* contact me and I'll rescan it.
Last time I did this (with Wham Comics #1 and Funny Pages v4#1), narfstar found some folks who could do the post-processing, so I'm hoping that can be done again. So where should I put this (and future) raw scans? Should I follow the normal upload procedure or would y'all rather have them go through some alternate channel? Sorry I can't manage to post-process these as I know it just makes more work for other folks, but it's the best balance I can strike, I think. We're desperately short on coders at the GCD.
